A secured LAN/WAN lab environment running open-weight AI models, WireGuard VPN, and a network-wide DNS sinkhole.
Configured self-hosted lab environments with LAN/WAN file access, deployed a WireGuard VPN tunnel, and managed custom firewall routing rules. Deployed a network-wide DNS sinkhole (Pi-hole) and DHCP server on a Raspberry Pi 4 to block intrusive ads and unwanted websites. Additionally deployed open-weight AI models (LLMs, Stable Diffusion) via Ollama and OpenWebUI within Docker containers, providing secure, remote API access utilizing Nginx and Let's Encrypt.
A novel, secure onboarding protocol for IoT devices utilizing a smartphone's camera flash.
Proposed and mathematically evaluated a secure onboarding protocol for smart IoT hardware utilizing light sensors to transmit data. Incorporated AES symmetric encryption and Reed-Solomon error correction to securely transmit WiFi credentials, mitigating man-in-the-middle vulnerabilities present in standard SoftAP schemes.
